Before the Haçienda opened its doors, the vibrant Factory scene kicked off at The Russell Club in Moss Side. The ‘Use Hearing Protection’ motif quickly became a defining element of Factory’s artistic identity. Our reimagined designs take inspiration from this iconic symbol, but with a fresh twist. Instead of fingers plugging ears, our artwork depicts fingers holding the laces of an adidas sneaker. Additionally, where the original design featured the phrase “USE HEARING PROTECTION,” our interpretation boldly states “WEAR ADIDAS TRAINERS.”
